Responses to There Are No Women in Our House
We recently published Iskandar Haggarty’s digital chapbook, There Are No Women in Our House, and are now opening submissions effective immediately for response poems to be considered for our next response chapbook, Around This Fire 5.
If you have contributed to previous editions of the Around This Fire response chapbook series, we would be delighted to welcome you back and see what Isky’s poetry has inspired in you. And if you have not yet participated in the Around This Fire series, we strongly encourage you to explore our poetry chapbooks and then submit.
ALL ATF5 SUBMISSIONS MUST FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES: Poems must be in the body of an email addressed to [email protected], and MUST have “ATF5 Submission” in the subject line of the email. In the email, please include your bio statement and up to three response poems. Each poem should include a line beneath the title to show which poem(s) in Iskandar Haggarty’s chapbook inspired it. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines will not be considered for inclusion. Submissions close on July 21, 2017 — we look forward to reading your responses!
