Kate Tales Foundation: Apply for the African Women Empowerment program

KTF CALL FOR GIRLS AND WOMEN LIVING IN NIGERIA, NAMIBIA, ETHIOPIA AND MOROCCO

As prove to Kate Tales Foundation’s commitment towards developing, empowering and enhancing women engagement in the national economic development and eradication of poverty in the continent, we therefore introduce the ‘African Women Empowerment’. The African Women Empowerment is a three month free training initiative designed to train two hundred (200) girls and women in Bead-making (Life-Skill), Photography (Art) and Computer Operation (ICT).

Eligibility

African Women Empowerment is open to Girls age 10-20 and Women age 21-50 living in Nigeria, Namibia, Morocco and Ethiopia.

Interested participants should communicate in English, whether literate and illiterate.

Do you wish to be empowered with Art, ICT or Life-skills? Do you lack finance and support? Do you know that woman who lacks support or skills to start a business and is struggling hard to survive?  Or do you know that young girl who lacks education, who roams every street, begging for alms and food?

Benefits:

Successful applicants will benefit from the following:

1 – Free training in Photography, Computer Training or Bead-making for three full months

2 – Opportunity to exhibit produced works to a large audience
Small grant awarded to best participants plus machinery and equipments to start a micro-enterprise.

3 – Mentorship in their area of interest.
