Jibril Mailafia is a Young Nigerian Filmmaker. His area of specialization includes Video Editing, Animation as well as Visual effects. He has a diploma certificate in theater arts (UNIVERSITY OF JOS) and recently rounded up a bachelor of Film Arts Degree Program at the National Film Institute, Jos. He has worked as a video editor with notable Nigerian Filmmakers like Kunle Afolanya in OCTOBER1, Keneth Gyang in HOW I MADE MY FIRST MILLION a television series among others. He has a total of thirteen Awards which include Best experimental film at the Abuja intl. film festival 2014 and numerous nominations which include Best Animation at the Africa Movies Academy Awards (AMAA) 2013. Silent Mansion is his recent short film.
